This package is designed for the Shapeoko XXL by Carbide 3D running Carbide Create. Although these files may work with other machines and software, we cannot guarantee operation for any other device / controller
Included in the downloaded folder is a text file with these instructions and 3 subfolders as listed below.
Shapeoke Files - These are .NC files ready to run on your shapeoko machine.
Carbide Create Files - These are Carbide Create files for making any modifications.
Original Art Files – These are the original art files which you can use to import this design into another program. Included is the same file, in 3 formats; EPS, PDF & DXF
RABBIT-4UP-FINAL:
This file is set up to run on 3/4” MDF cut to 24” x 32” with a ¼”end mill. Other materials can be used but I would suggest changing the bit settings and cut depth if running on harder materials.
PLASTIC-8UP-FINAL:
This file is set up to run on 1/8” thick acrylic cut to 18” x 26” with a ¼”end mill. Depending on your bed surface you may have success running this this file. I personally DID NOT have success running this file. I cut one of the ovals from this file in ¾ plywood then cut my acrylic to 6” x 8” rectangles on the table saw. Using double sided tape, I attached each rectangle to the oval template and trimmed each one on a router table with a 1/8” straight bit.
ASSEMBLY:
This item is comprised of 4 parts, 3 parts out of MDF which must be glued or taped together, then 1 piece of acrylic which must be installed prior to final assembly of the MDF parts. We suggest using 100% silicone caulk to keep the product food safe.
